Ponderosa Software Announces New Sales Portal for Door & Window Manufacturers and Distributors

The Sales Portal allows a Pro-Dealer's or building material distributor's customers to design and customize doors, windows and other millwork products on-the-fly, submit the quote and place the order online 24/7 from anywhere – the office, from home or from a job site.  Your reps get 100% accurate information, enabling them to provide a level of service that drives sales and reduces order-to-delivery time.

The CPQ tool features an online Product Configurator (ProCon) that presents required selections for entry door systems, interior doors, windows, and other customized millwork products as high-resolution images and detailed illustrations. Choices are quick and logical.  Only the logical subcomponents based on the previous selection are presented as options, preventing the selection of incorrect components and eliminating the potential of costly returns and rebuilds. 

If a customer is interested in a custom entry door system, they can view, select and price the specific door slab type and only the logical sidelights, transom, exterior trim and other options that fit their project are selectable, all without having to wait for the customer service department to open.

The Ponderosa Sales Portal is integrated with most major door and window manufacturers’ online product configurators, so as a dealer, you can add trim packages and other upsell components, with no double entry of data.  This eliminates errors caused by re-keying and manual re-costing and reduces the time spent creating quotes.
