As the Director of Payment Programs, you will lead CAI Software’s Payments Programs, coordinating all efforts associated with merchant acquisition, onboarding, go live and support across payments in our ERP product lines (Seasoft, Provisions and Ponderosa). The responsibility for launching and ensuring the profitable growth of CAI Software’s portfolio of merchants will be yours to own and to be successful. You will drive incredible growth by enabling the sales, implementation, support, and finance teams at CAI Software to understand their roles in ensuring all of us achieve maximum adoption of CAI Software’s payment products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and then oversee the go-to-market effort to onboard CAI Software’s ERP customers onto this new payment program.
  • Spearhead the effort to automate all processes associated with new merchant onboarding/screening/support and funds flow between CAI Software and its merchants.
  • Design and manage pricing strategies (cost plus, fixed price, blended, and convenience fee models) for CAI Software’s merchant acquiring and ACH acceptance products.
  • Manage and enforce CAI Software’s underwriting and regulatory policies for onboarding new merchants.
  • Work with CAI Software’s third-party payment vendor to rapidly scale.
  • Establish, track, and report on all metrics associated to credit card and ACH product line revenue growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with CAI Software’s product and development teams to ensure the timely roll-out of new features that support the growth, profitability, and satisfaction of CAI Software’s customer portfolio using our payment products.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of merchants throughout the onboarding and operational lifecycle – 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience at a payment processing company – financial institution, processor, or otherwise – in a hands-on, operational role
  • Solid understanding of a payments go-to-market program, merchant acquiring, funds flow, the four-party model, and ACH processing
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, with various levels above and below, internally and externally, and both to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated financial acumen to manage pricing programs, identify and calculate cost savings, and to direct planning/project allocation
  • Established background in promoting a proactive risk culture and driving control initiatives, including knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences of all levels of an organization, including the ‘C’ suite and investors
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

A Business Development Representative (BDR) at CAI Software is a key member of the software Marketing & Sales teams – and is often the first contact for potential clients!  In this role, you will work directly with our Sales and Marketing staff to uncover and develop new opportunities.  You will spend most of your time on the phone, researching companies, updating, and building out our sales database, executing coordinated marketing campaigns, interacting with prospects via email and the phone, and scheduling qualified calls for our sales team. This position offers great advancement opportunity and is an introduction to the world of enterprise level software solutions and sales.

The BDR functions as the tip of the spear to produce and drive new business for the company’s products and services. As a BDR, you will be tasked with generating new client opportunities through networking and follow up on ‘warm’ leads and need a real person to engage with them and begin to explore the benefits of our products and services.

This position will support several CAI Software’s Manufacturing Sales Teams; — ShopVue MES and Radley EPA and EDI e-Commerce solutions.  Our Portland Maine office is home to our ShopVue team and overlook beautiful Casco Bay, offering an outstanding work environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Make cold calls within our existing database
  • Earn commissions by identifying new prospects
  • Expand our database by identifying key contacts in new markets

  • Take meticulous notes during calls and log all call histories in CRM
  • Develop a clear and concise understanding of prospects’ business and technical requirements via the phone
